About Mother Earth Wears

It started, as so many good things do, with a child asking for something impossible.

My daughter wanted armor — but make it delicate. So I did what any reasonable mother would do: I sat down, figured out how to sew, and made it. The result was the BattleShrug — something you'd wear into battle but slip on like a shrug. She loved it!

So did everyone else! That was the beginning.

I'm Tiffany, an empty nester sharing my home with my husband and my shadow dog named Moxxi. Since they are both housebroken and I work bankers' hours, I'm often in my studio creating one-of-a-kind, renaissance-inspired pieces that feel like they were made just for you — because they were.

Everything you see here is made by me. Some pieces are built from scratch, stitch by stitch. Others — like my sweater coats — start as something ordinary and get completely taken apart and reimagined into something you'll reach for every single day.
